Casa da Guripa is an elevated seafood and tapas restaurant in the coastal village of Angeiras, just a few steps from the ocean. Housed in a beautifully restored 1930s building, it offers a warm, relaxed atmosphere where incredible food meets honest hospitality.

I’ve been working with Casa da Guripa for several years, creating their visual branding through photography and video. Shooting food is always a unique challenge — we can’t capture taste or smell, so the focus is on texture, colour, and the atmosphere around the plate. My goal has always been to convey how the space feels and how the food brings people together.

Through these images, I helped shape how people perceive the restaurant — a place that’s sophisticated yet familiar, rooted in local flavours and built on the joy of making people feel at home.
