Over the last five years, I’ve collaborated with IMVF, a Portuguese NGO focused on sustainable development and global citizenship education, on their People & Planet project. The initiative tackles climate justice and our interconnected futures. My role was to create a visual language that could spark conversation, build empathy, and make urgent issues feel both accessible and emotionally resonant.

The theme of climate crisis is complex and often overwhelming. My goal was to approach it with a positive but realistic lens. I wanted to make people smile, but also feel and reflect. To create space for connection and action, not guilt or despair.

From posters to stickers, books to merch, and even an AR filter for social media, these illustrations became a toolkit for engagement. They’ve been featured in classrooms, public events, and city walls, serving as entry points into bigger conversations about our shared future.

Each image was a small act of visual storytelling. Together, they’ve helped build momentum around one of the most critical conversations of our time.
